With just enough time to catch your breath, the $24.5 million Breeders’ Cup comes up two weekends later, on Oct. 30 & 31. The two-day, 13-race Breeders’ Cup Championship, which will be contested at Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Kentucky for the first time, will be simulcast in its entirety at Turf Paradise and all 62 OTB sites.

There are 13 Breeders’ Cup races: Friday’s Four BC Races: Juvenile Turf, Dirt Mile, Juvenile Fillies Turf and Distaff.
Saturday’s Nine BC Races: Juvenile Fillies, Filly and Mare Turf, Filly and Mare Sprint, Turf Sprint, Juvenile, Turf, Sprint, Mile and Classic.
The show piece of the Breeders’ Cup races is the $5 million Classic at 1 ¼ miles. The talent runs deep in this year’s Classic, what with Triple Crown winner American Pharoah, the mare Beholder, who soundly beat the boys in the Pacific Coast Classic, Honor Code, Liam’s Map, Tonalist, Frosted and Keen Ice to name a few.
