In the $53,555 fillies’ division the Kevin Eikleberry-trained Iknowsheknowsiknow will attract attention following her third place finish in Canterbury Park’s Criss Native stakes.
Others to check out in the post parade are the Dan McFarlane-trained Tactical Rocket and the Molly Pearson-trained Libby.
Tactical Rocket who’s been in the money in all four of her efforts, recently broke her maiden July 19.
Libby, a maiden still, has been facing tougher company in southern California.
In the $56,543 colts and geldings division Highway Boss is only one of two of the 11 entrants that has broken his maiden. Trained by Molly Pearson, the probable prohibitive post time favorite, Highway Boss, followed his maiden victory at Santa Anita by winning a restricted stakes at Turfway Park before finishing fourth in Del Mar’s Best Pal Stakes (G2).
To Note: Eikleberry, McFarlane and Pearson have won one or the other of theses stakes a combined total of six times.
